Dr. Jeremy Lipshutz is a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist, Pain Medicine Specialist, and Addiction Medicine Specialist. Originally from Boston, Dr. Lipshutz left the Northeast to pursue his undergraduate studies in Biology at Grinnell College in Iowa. He went on to complete a Master’s degree in Epidemiology of Infectious Diseases from Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health. He then pursued his Medical Degree at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, and completed a residency in Anesthesiology at Detroit Medical Centers.  He completed his fellowship focusing in Pain Medicine at the University of Michigan. Dr. Lipshutz has worked in pain medicine for more than seven years, during which, he spent much of his clinical time identifying and treating addictions to opiate medications and illicit substances.
